Our CEO Built an Autonomous Product Optimiser in One Weekend. Here's How It's Changing Everything

AI

Reimagine You - Fabricio Bloisi

After 20 years of not writing a single line of code, I spent one weekend building something that shouldn't have been possible: an AI system that finds product-market fit on its own. No human approval needed. No waiting for the next sprint. Just continuous, autonomous improvement.

From CEO to Coder (Again)

I'm Fabricio Bloisi, CEO of Prosus. I studied computer science in 1998 and always loved coding – but as the company grew, coding disappeared from my life. Leadership, strategy, people management – these filled my days instead.

A few weeks ago, I watched AI advance at breakneck speed: In the last 100 days, the world transformed completely:
- Claude Code and AI can now program at a level that was science fiction six months ago.
- OpenClaw proved you could create an agent that adapts to you, remembers context, builds software, and gets better every day.
- AutoResearch showed that AI systems could improve themselves every 10 minutes – tasks that used to take researchers weeks now run 100 versions overnight.

I realized that if you're still thinking “lean startup” and iterating every two weeks, you're already behind.

So I spent one weekend learning, vibe-coding, testing, and building – not to prove I could still code, but to prove how AI has fundamentally changed what's possible for anyone.

What I Built

I created AutoPMF – an autonomous loop that iterates a product toward product-market fit without waiting for human approval at every step.

Here's how it works:

You start with a product – in my case, a simple news feed. Users give feedback, rating the app from 0 to 10 and leaving comments. Every 10 minutes, the AI reads those suggestions, generates hypotheses about what to improve, rewrites the code, updates the app, and then measures one thing: are users happier?

If yes, it commits the change. If not, it rolls back. Then it keeps running until you hit high NPS.

No meetings. No approval chains. No two-week sprints.

The Results

I've let it run for 5 days. The system has completed 80 cycles of updates based on more than 120 pieces of feedback from real people. The entire product-market fit process runs on its own.

This is a small proof of concept. But it shows something much bigger.

Autonomous organizations are coming fast.

If we can automate product-market fit, we can automate everything else. AI lets you move from idea to working prototype in hours, not weeks.

Why This Changes Everything

Until now, "moving fast" meant Lean Startup: ship a new version every two weeks. That was revolutionary when it emerged.

I believe the new standard is every two days. An order of magnitude faster.

We're moving from hierarchical org charts divided by departments, full of approval bottlenecks, toward something completely different: intelligent, process-oriented, autonomous organizations where AI agents keep working even while you sleep.

The difference is using AI not to speed up existing processes – but to reimagine them entirely.

We've already seen this transformation in development. AutoResearch lets AI researchers go to sleep and wake up to a new, improved version of their work every single day. RalphWiggum does autonomous coding loops that iterate without waiting for human review at every step.

These aren't experiments anymore. And when these patterns spread to other areas of business, they will fundamentally transform how companies work.

The Three Conditions

To work with autonomous loops, you need three things:

1. Measurable outcomes: you need to know if you're improving
2. Iterate quickly: the faster the cycle, the faster you learn
3. Have a clear goal: the AI needs to know what "better" looks like

Companies that apply these patterns and run autonomous improvement loops across research, strategy, and operations will move much faster than everyone else.

The question isn't "if" but "how fast can we deploy them?"

You Can Do This Too

I believe every CEO, executive, and business leader needs to get on board now, get their hands dirty, learn how to code, experiment, and build with AI. That's why we ran an 8-hour training for about 10 CEOs from the Prosus ecosystem: companies like iFood, OLX, PayU, eMAG, and Despegar. All of them have already built products and innovations within their companies.

We decided to share a self-paced course we created to help you reimagine how you work.

Take the course now.

This is what we're focused on at Prosus – how to benefit millions of partners and billions of customers through AI. Not 5% or 10% productivity improvements. I'm talking about being 10x, 100x better.

We're just getting started!
