Prosus unveils AI-first vision at inaugural Prosus Forward tech event

AI

Event showcases AI-first products being deployed at scale across the portfolio, as well as technology vision for the future

Prosus, the global technology company, yesterday hosted Prosus Forward, its first-ever global technology showcase, to outline its bold vision for the future of ecommerce in an agentic age. The event demonstrated how Prosus is connecting its ecosystem of companies across Latin America, Europe and India through AI agents and life assistants to build the future of the agentic marketplace economy.

The company showcased a suite of proprietary AI products – including its Large Commerce Model (LCM), agents for work, agents for partners and life assistants – all built to deliver hyper-personalised customer experiences and unlock the potential of partners across Prosus’s ecosystem. All presentations, including live demonstrations of Prosus agents, are available online at www.prosus.com.

Quote from Fabricio Bloisi, CEO of Prosus

“The agentic age is here, and we believe the companies that will win are those with unique data assets, deep in-house AI capabilities, and the scale to deploy them in real-world environments. Prosus has all three. With more than one billion customers, five million partners, 500 million daily interactions, and a team of 1000 world-class AI engineers, we are perfectly placed to build AI that is trained not on text, but on real interactions. Today we unveiled what that looks like in practice – and we are just getting started.”

Event Highlights

Prosus Technology Roadmap

CEO Fabricio Bloisi opened the event with Prosus’s vision for a lifestyle ecosystem serving one billion customers and five million partners, with ~US$65bn in GMV across Latin America, India and Europe. He described the company’s evolution: where loyalty once acted as the glue binding its ecosystem, the future will be powered by life assistants that get things done and agents that run companies – a shift from passive connectivity to active intelligence.

Large Commerce Model (LCM)

Prosus introduced its proprietary Large Commerce Model – the AI brain powering all Prosus applications and agents. Unlike large language models trained on text, the LCM is trained on billions of real-world interactions, including orders, searches, clicks and reorders, enabling it to learn customer intent and deliver highly personalised experiences. Already live in 40+ use cases at iFood, the LCM is driving a +19% increase in homepage conversions, a 51% reduction in ad conversion costs and a +75% improvement in notification conversion. Early results from recent launches at Just Eat Takeaway, OLX and eMAG are equally promising, and Prosus is now rolling out the LCM globally across its portfolio.

Agents for Work – Toqan

Prosus showcased Toqan, its internal agent platform now used by over 25,000 associates across 22 Prosus companies. With 5,000 agents active every day, Toqan is augmenting every employee – accelerating execution, improving operational agility, and decoupling growth from costs. The platform is delivering 747k actions per month and an equivalent impact of over 1,000 full-time employees, spanning operations, HR, legal, sales and marketing functions.

Agents for Partners

Prosus is extending its AI agent technology to every company in its ecosystem, helping partners start faster, grow sales and improve operations. Already, 80% of iFood’s partners are onboarded with the aid of agents, and 12.5% are onboarded by agents alone. A standout example is Otomoto, OLX’s automotive vertical in Poland, where a new conversational agent helps car dealers navigate a complex, data-rich platform – driving growth and accelerating sales. Over 100 highly skilled agents are now doing the work of thousands across the Prosus group.

Life Assistants

The event closed with a showcase of Prosus’s 20+ life assistants across India, Latin America and Europe – AI-powered tools that simplify daily life for customers. Highlights included Ailo, iFood’s conversational assistant now reaching close to one million users; Sofia, Despegar’s travel assistant which already contributes ~3% of sales in Latin America; and Zapia, the Prosus ecosystem agent with six million users across Latin America. Prosus also previewed Flume, an autonomous AI assistant from Prosus AI Labs that works 24/7 in the background, connecting life data across apps to proactively solve problems before users even notice them. Flume is currently in use at Prosus, with selected availability in Europe from April 2026.
