Prosus Ignite – Transforming into the largest European Internet Company

 

Targeting $200 bn+ in value in the next three years

Today, Prosus hosted its 2025 Capital Markets Day – ‘Prosus Ignite’ – at Outernet London. Senior executives from across Prosus, outlined an ambitious vision and strategy, with a clear roadmap and financial targets.

Prosus’s goal is to build the #1 lifestyle ecommerce ecosystems in Latin America, Europe and India, unlocking an AI-first world for our 2B consumers. The Group’s ecosystems approach, powered by food, fintech, commerce and experiences, will enhance user engagement, optimise costs and generate valuable data to fuel AI innovation. Prosus is reinventing ecommerce with AI agents and Large Commerce Models, which will dramatically improve its operations, deliver new user experiences and power growth across the ecosystem.

The Capital Markets Day featured presentations and panel discussions from Prosus’ broader leadership team, including Prosus CEO, Fabricio Bloisi, Prosus CFO, Nico Marais, CEO of iFood and Head of Latin America Ecosystem, Diego Barreto, CEO of OLX Christian Gisy, Head of India Ecosystem, Ashutosh Sharma, Prosus Chief People Officer, Gustavo Vitti, and Euro Beinat, Global Head of AI and Data Science. Highlights from the sessions included:

  • An ambitious plan to deliver >2x revenue growth over the next three years (FY25 – FY28) and continue to accelerate profitability. By the end of FY26, profitability will have improved US$1.2B in three years, and over the next three years, it is expected to grow more than 3.5x.
  • How Prosus is building regional ecosystems across Latin America, Europe, and India, all powered by strong brands in food, fintech, commerce, and experiences
    • Prosus’ connected ecosystem in Latin America is comparable now to US$100B market cap companies. It has the potential to deliver exponential growth by building on the incredible success and strong brand of iFood which will include integrating Despegar to deliver new customer experiences. As we build out this convenience ecosystem, our goal is to double revenues in three years from US$1.4B in FY25, and triple adjusted EBITDA from US$256m in FY25.
    • In Europe, Prosus sees significant potential to build on its strong core standalone businesses, namely OLX and eMAG, by exploring local synergies and using data and innovation to enhance customer experiences. The acquisition of Just Eat Takeaway.com1 will strengthen the Europe ecosystem. Over the next three years, we expect to deliver 2.5x revenue growth, from US$3.5B in FY25, while generating 3x growth in aEBITDA, from US$425m in FY25.
    • As one of India’s top tech investors, Prosus has a US$6.5B platform with 30+ investments across various sectors and stages of maturity. Prosus expects to drive a 5x increase in portfolio value through new investment, ecosystem synergies and AI productivity.
  • Innovation is powering Prosus’ ecosystems, as we re-invent ecommerce, through agentic, highly personalised ecosystems. Our proprietary Large Commerce Models provide a unique foundation to understand user intent and actions, helping to improve existing operations, and drive new experiences for consumers. Through the Prosus agent-based assistant, Toqan, we are revolutionising the way we work and our ability to build an AI workforce. With a network of AI tech centres and more than 750 AI specialists, we are investing over US$100M per year in AI to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
